My switch has been sticky since I got the Kindle. I did not know better until few days ago when I used someone else's Kindle.
I have found out that if I switch the Kindle on/off using my nail (without putting any pressure on the switch) it works like it should.
By the way the gas in the air duster is much heavier than air... try putting a small amount in a balloon :-)
