With regard to "buy our product and we'll donate a (tiny fraction) to a cause", my usual response is "why don't I just buy a product I like, which is probably cheaper to boot, and cut a check for the cause?" Pink stuff in particular gets to me. Commercial products are commercial products, and pinkwashing doesn't make them into charitable donations. Also, I really, really hate pink.

But yeah, as rare as it is that I agree with Leebase, he's right about that one. If you're going to buy baby wipes, buy the kind you like. If you're going to donate to the Save the Naugas Foundation, make a donation. But don't try to mix the few -- you lose, the naugas lose, and the only winner is the company who's getting some cheap advertising at both of your expense.
