The thing I love best about traveling is that I get to sleep in a real bed. The kind were you sit up in the morning and put your feet DOWN, rather than having to climb UP. It's almost as bad as having to sit on the floor to eat, which I try very hard to avoid! It was 'exotic' when I first moved to Asia, now it's a pain in the a... rear. Literally. Fortunately, we have enough room in our kitchen/dinning room for a genuine table and chairs. Thank God!

I'm kind of ok with sleeping on the ground (obviously depends on the ground). I completely give up if I am in a situation where floor sleeping is called for. (unless it is an incredibly well padded.carpeted floor)
