Meisha Merlin is a science fiction publishing company that <a href="http://replay.waybackmachine.org/20071021032459/http://meishamerlin.com/meishamerlin.html">went out of business in 2007</a>. It did reprints of a number of great authors, and first-runs of a few, and when it went under, the newest/last book in the Sime~Gen series (which you're not expected to have ever heard of) was still pending.
