I don't think so. We have an iPad 1 in the house that is being used as:
a) a computer (by my mom)
b) e-reader (by my dad)
c) game console (by my sis & me)

and we decided not to upgrade to iPad2.

If you're happy with your iPad and enjoy using it, keep it.
