Whether or not a particular device will have availability impacted by supply chain problems caused by ripple effects of the disaster in Japan will depend on the device and where the components are sourced from. Everything isn't made in Japan, and many things that are are manufactured in fabs in areas unaffected by the quake and tsunami. For that matter, preliminary reports indicate most fabs suffered no physical damage, and are offline due to no electric power. Production will resume when they have it.
