I think that a lot of pople do not realize thAt giving TOO MUCH information to the search can be counter-productive. It can often cause a search to fail as not all the search terms can be matched. It all depends on how the back-end server handles terms that are not matched. Some return no results, while others give the 'best match'.

Of course the corrolary also applies - making the search terms too general can mean that too many results are returned and one has to wade through them to find the correct ones.
