@nynaevelan - The Kindle Code shown in the report ends with the cdetype. Next release will make it clearer what code is added to the file. You'll probably want to run it in debug mode and we can PM to see why it isn't working for you as it is working for me and others. I've removed the warnings about not being able to collect the files - but have added the list of books that can't be collected at the end of the report - in case some users don't want to collect them and don't want to see the warnings - but I may change this in the future once this issue settles down.

@NiLuJe/@beckywc - as NiLuJe posted, yes apparently you really can add Periodicals to Collections - but only via the plugin and not directly on the Kindle - and it keeps the magazine format! I just tried it on my test release. Downloaded a new Newspaper. It could not be added to collections using the Kindle (greyed out). Also shows up in the plugin warning as not being able to be added. Followed some steps I've added in the First Post under 'Common Setups Requiring Calibre Settings' (import, tag, send to device, delete the original file), and now the plugin can add it to a collection - but the Kindle still can't add it manually (maybe the filename). Same for Catalogues - and they seem to keep the article format - but as I don't know all the functionality of periodicals I can't be certain so I'd appreciate feedback from those willing to backup the original periodical file and test. Its not clear what if any additional facilities come from using the cdetypes MAGZ, NWPR, FEED instead of PDOC.

@zyggher - thanks for pointing this out - fixed author_sort for next release

@nyssa - try the next version with debug mode - I've added a lot of additional debug output - and we can PM to find out what's different on your setup
