What's even harder is to comprehend a billion years....I keep trying and trying....the Earth has been around about 4.6 billion years life for maybe 3-4 billion.....

4.6 billion inches is about 3 times around the Earth.

A billion inches is about 2/3 of the way around the earth

500,000 inches(years) is only 8 miles
