Uh... guys? When I suggested taking iodine, I was being facetious. If you are in an area where the radiation levels are so bad as to require increased iodine in your diet, you have far more serious radiation issues to deal with...

While the levels of radiation have increased since the explosions, the levels being found in downwind areas are still far from harmful. Radiation is measured in quantities for a year's exposure. If you are exposed to X level for one year the result is Y. The levels that are being seen haven't even approached the danger level for a year's exposure, much less from a passing wind.
