I am trying it again, with another set of books that are already in my Calibre Library, but that were not originally on my Kindle. I'll have it create a new series and author collection, then I will go back and 2 more books to the existing collection, to see what happens.

Ok, I've created a new Author collection (CK-12 Foundation ). I'm adding
CK-12 Geometry &
CK-12 Trigonometry to the Kindle.
Here is how they came up on the Preview report:
Code:
CK-12 Geometry
Kindle path: documents/CK-12 Foundation/CK-12 Geometry - CK-12 Foundation.azw
Kindle code: #B0042XA2Z4^EBOK
Adding collection: CK-12 Foundation (from column "Authors")
CK-12 Trigonometry
Kindle path: documents/CK-12 Foundation/CK-12 Trigonometry - CK-12 Foundation.azw
Kindle code: #B0042XA32G^EBOK
Adding collection: CK-12 Foundation (from column "Authors")
I then chose "Create Collections" (it said the same thing on that report).
*I did notice the the number of books on the CK_Foundation collection did
not change (it stayed at 5), but I do not know if it is supposed to automatically or after the Kindle has been reset.
After "Create Collections", I ejected and restarted/rebooted my Kindle.
Nothing had changed, the CK Foundation still had the original 5 books; neither the Geometry nor the Trigonometry were added to the collection.
The warnings on the report are not for any of the CK books (nor are they for the 3 books I was trying to add yesterday). I can attach a copy of the full preview report if that will help.
