Let's keep in mind, by the way, that Linux covers less than 2% of the desktop market -- and it's unclear how many of those people are interested in buying ebooks from Amazon and do not plan to buy an Android or iOS tablet. So, it's not like they are shafting half the planet.

This only leaves two viable objections: 1) other non-tablet ebook readers and 2) library access.

So, not great but definitely not the End of Western Civilization As We Know It.
