Heh, although I'm a woman I find it impossible to read a book and watch television at the same time. Although sometimes I press the mute button during commercial break so I can read a little. I'm usually not good at reading when there's too much noise.

That's true. I read mostly fantasy, and they're usually 400 to 700 pages. You could always do a page count at the end of the year. Or read xxx pages as a challenge, as Crusader is doing.
