These are the full filenames I pulled directly off the reader:

Contents of H:\database\media\books\Christie, Agatha

Evil under the sun_ a Hercule Poirot mystery - Agatha Christie_1
Five Little Pigs - Agatha Christie_2
Hercule Poirot's Christmas_ A Holiday Mystery - Agatha Christie_3
Lord Edgware dies - Agatha Christie_4
Murder in Mesopotamia_ A Hercule Poirot Mystery - Agatha Christie_5
murder on the links, The - Agatha Christie_6
Secret Adversary, The - Agatha Christie_136

Edit: I manually changed the title of "murder on the links, The - Agatha Christie_6" to
"Murder on the Links, The - Agatha Christie_6", just swapping the 2 capital letters, and the sort is now perfect if I select sort "By filename". That just seems odd, and it's still sorted incorrectly if I select "By author then title". I'll check the other instances where I noticed the sort was off and see if there's not lower case letters involved there as well.
