Actually, I think iBooks is faster than Kindle for iOS. But ipad2 is certainly faster when using any of those; the new CPU helps on that aspect. Page turning is smoother in my opinion.

The page animation is one of the things I like from iBooks besides the TOC layout and dictionary. Would be nice if you can turn the animation off though and leave that to the user. I agree on that.
