Driving Patera is a collection of stories about a trio of bounty hunters. Starting with Aphelion's Demise and an attack by space pirates. It then moves on through Altair's Aquisition which shows how they became bounty hunters by going to work for someone they thought long dead. First bounty is of course the first time they actually capture a criminal for the bounty. And it all climaxes in Return to the Stars with the trio returning to Earth and saving an old friend. From being boarded by the military, attacked by pirates, stealing ships, and rescuing friends, follow Derek, Beech, and Keri through their adventures.
