Handheld Game Devices as E-readers

Anyone else have any experience with using a handheld gaming device (PSP or Nintendo DS) for e-reading?

I've got both PSP and DS, and (due to my necessity of having an e-reader on everything I can find) they're both equipped for it.

After applying CFW to the PSP, I installed Bookr and have a few books on the memory stick at all times. For the DS, I thought it would work well as it can be held like a book. So, I tried reading .txt files in Moonshell on the flash-card I received. This worked well, however I tried DS Libris and never looked back.

So, any other users get their reading fix with portable game devices?
