Osaka is in the Kansai Region, as is Kyoto and Kobe. (Tokyo is in the Kanto region.) All that we felt in the Kansai was some light shaking during the quake.

Osaka was not physically affected in any way by this crisis in the north, except perhaps as far as flights from Tokyo. Today Tokyo is reporting all municipal services are running normally, school is in session, and business is up and running. Tokyo's Narita Airport is reporting all flights arriving and departing on time.
