Ok, feeling pretty stupid... It dawned on me today that I hadn't checked my Toolbars list. SO I did, and sure enough, BookCreator is listed, but not selected.
Now I see my buttons and have played. Hooray!
A new question though...is there a way to change the default syntax for file naming and author detection? I prefer my files to be named "Title - Author" and BookCreator uses "Author - Title". Also, when the Author is not listed WITHIN the document (only in the file name) BookCreator uses my computer name for the Author field rather than any part of the file name. Any way to change these things?
