There was no response from Calibre when I tried to shutdown so I just killed the processes and shutdown my laptop for the night. The next morning I thought I'd just start the copy over again. When I tried, the copy process did nothing. The copy window hung at 0%. I killed and started a few times with the same result. Finally I tried to open the destination Library but it would not open. I figure it must be damaged. What can I do? I am running 7.49 on Ubuntu. When I shut the laptop the first time it definitely stop the network. Also, I was doing copy with delete not just plain copy.

Next to the Library Icon, there is a little arrow. Maintenance options are there.
you can try the repair., the last item tries to rebuild from the OPF stored with each book (plan on some time being consumed).
