@meme: I'm seeing a few encoding glitches (no errors this time, so it's not really a big problem) where I'm actually seeing the special characters in UTF-8 instead of my local encoding (iso8859-15) (ie. é instead of é).

From my first quick checks: In the debug console (collection names), in the 'View collections' panel (collection names), in the 'Edit collections' panel (collection names in the 'collections' combobox, Titles in the 'Title' field).
