This reminds me of the IT Crowd's humorous telephone greeting,
"Hello, IT dept. Have you tried turning it off and on again?". It's quite funny on the show, but when I compare it to when I take calls, It's realistically the first step that I take to diagnose and troubleshoot tech. Glad it worked out for you!
