The ereader is an important piece of the equation, but you buy one to read electronic books. Being able to download those wireless directly to your Kindle is a big plus. And Amazon online bookstore is the biggest in USA and one of the biggest in the world.

I'm not saying with this the Sony is a bad ereader, so please don't get me wrong, actually Sony ereaders are a good piece of technology, but for a lot less money, you can get a comparable ereader.
