Heh... the concept of "sheep" blindly going along with the herd has also been proposed, also here on MobileRead, as the only/main reason for the success of the Kindle. One can, I'm sure, find a similarly "sheepish" reason for the success of just about anything. Reality tends to be a lot messier and more complicated than such "the main reason for" explanations generally allow for.
