It passed here (Honolulu) about 4.5 hours ago, the second wave hit something over 7 feet (that’s as high as the gauge goes) on Maui. There was some damage, but no reports of injuries or deaths. All the radio guys are marveling about how we "Dodged the bullet". Japan, unfortunately, didn’t! The devastation there is of biblical proportions.

My work involves sites all across the Pacific, including in Japan. I haven’t received any word from any of my people in there. My prayers are with them.
