Well I received my 505, got it to read under Ubuntu fine, used Calibre to add all my non-drm books, and it's a treat. The collections are a bit out, couple of typos, etc but I can sort that.

I've registered the device under ADE, bought a cheap book and it worked fine on windows. I'll be trying it tonight or tomorrow at home on the Ubuntu box to see how it will handle the .acsm files.... Watch this space...
