That's the way I feel about reading on it too. I still love mine and use it as a tablet, but I really love my nook classic more for reading. I can stare at the nook classic screen for hours without any problems. Where as monitors, I never stare at those for hours--I'm looking at multiple applications on the monitor or I'm looking at the keyboard or over at the phone, etc. Which is why I have no problem with using the Nook color as a tablet--because the screen is usually always changing. I'm either looking at different web pages, or different apps...
