Yeah that is one area of all of these touch screen devices that don't work well, or as well as a computer device.

I don't have a honeycomb device, but on my 2.2 devices I find highlighting the word works best, do not try to when you highlight make sure to select the word, not the space between a word. Then use the tags to move the cursor or select the word.
