Hellmark was debating whether or not you actually have the right to reproduce (i.e. copy and redistribute) the ebooks you were talking about.

Ardeegee then introduced a pun, or play on words, with the word "reproduce", using it in the sense of reproducing yourself, passing on your genes, having children.

I took it to be a rather insulting and insensitive way of expressing his distaste for the "mass produced" nature of the ebooks being discussed. Snipenekkid feels it was more likely to be a flippant and perhaps thoughtless attempt at humour.
