Another possibility might be to permanently crop the pdf file before converting to djvu. For some reason this can be pretty hard to do though. One way could be to print to pdf (using same page dimensions as source file on output file).

Depending on your software there might be other ways to do this. If you're using adobe acrobat, you could try saving as ps than converting to pdf again. This will also result in a permanently cropped pdf.
Ah, I see.. But they seem to need much work time when we deal with many pdf files.. But good references.. Thanks.
