The only problem is that they have greatly underestimated demand but cannot make enough of them and there always is a waiting list at Amazon and at the MS Store. This is a real powerful computer, so this unit is more expensive than a tablet, though.
The Kno has been canceled, I read somewhere. They company quit the hardware business after shipping just a few hundred units and now they are just selling licenses for textbooks to other companies.

The Asus is almost there, but for the price that Asus is asking, there are a few things that I would change. First and foremost would be battery life. Realistic battery life is 3 hours, possibly pushed to 3.5, but that's way too short for a tablet, IMHO. I'd also prefer the N-trig with palm rejection instead of Wacom.
I have a friend who also has a preorder in for the Kno who bought the EP121 and is either selling it or returning it. Knowing that I wouldn't have to wait, and could just buy it from him, I seriously thought about it, but felt like I would be settling. If I'm going to settle, I may as well get an iPad for half the price, which is the tablet, that my friend told me, he uses the most. So... I just ordered an ipad.
As for the Kno, who knows what's going on w/ them. I last heard that they were selling their hardware division, which was one week after they called and said that shipment was delayed an additional 60 days. I've been waiting for my Kno since Xmas. If it ships, I have 30 days to decide if I want to keep it and sell the iPad. If it doesn't, at least I'm not sitting around waiting for it.
BTW, they didn't ship any units, they just "said" that they did. I haven't found a single pre-order on the net that got their unit. And one of their former employees said that he wasn't able to keep his, so... I doubt there are any in the wild right now.
And they sent me a shirt! Ha! Nice rag, that will be!
