I know the feeling. A coworker recently loaned me an out of print pbook printed in the mid 70s and I've been suffering through it. I have to hold it open, can't read it while I'm doing other things, the binding is weak at one point (and I'm terrified to return it in broken condition), the pages are yellowing, and I sure wish that I could just buy it in ebook format!!

IIRC the Kindle version of WFE is "only" $5... might be worth the lack of pain. :-)
