I think it's another case of someone lazily taking print materials from some sort of paper promo packet and turning them into e-editions without even bothering to look.
Anyway, thanks for the notice.
Stupid unmarked sales-boosting glorified stealth samples. I will never buy a book which uses them and will side-eye any publisher who doesn't explicitly mark their previews.
