Absolutely. This is without a doubt the best screen I have ever read books on. I rooted mine for a time, but went back to factory because after the newness of rooting wore off all I was doing was reading on it. I will occasionally surf the web on it, but 90% of the time I'm reading on it and I love the crispness of the fonts, the contrast and all the color and brightness options.
I still have an eink device, but it only gets used when I am reading outside in the sun and that is pretty rarely.
