Yes for some cases keeping prices updated might be quite a lot of work.
But, what exactly do you envisage for the "catalog" a year or two down the road ?
It's quite useful now by pointing out to me several sources of DRM-free books I didn't know of but what happens if it catches on and
every Smashwords (say) author asks to be included ?
You could end up as the hard worked editor of _DRM-free Books in Electrons_ (cf Books in Print).
I noted that in the entry for Lois McMaster Bujold I
don't see the omnibus Miles, Mutants and Microbes nor Memory and the
contents of the omnibuses are given by number with no key. There are at
least 23 DRM-free Bujold books available from Baen and Fictionwise.
Series lists are quite useful but there are good lists in Wikipedia with additional information and the Open Library project which includes ebooks.
Suggestions for a logical way forward ?
