I used to make Yerba MAte Lattes. I would use one of the stover top espresso makers to make myself three shots of Yerba Matter. Heat up and froth some milk. Add a bit of sugar or honey, the Yerba Matte, and get to drinking.

I actually have a couple of Yerba Matte Gourds and the special straws used for consuming the stuff. You are suppose to fill the gourd with yerba matter, add water, and reuse the guord throughout the day. The first guord fulls are pretty bloody strong.
