Amazon has had Kindle "gift as a gift" buttons for months - any word from BN on whether they are working on this ?

(Referring to ebooks, not readers)

It seems an essential component of the concept of replacing paper books.

Since BN has friend and Library lending, as well as reading other formats, you would think they are aware of the issue of emulating all paper book functionality...
