I'm not clear on what you're missing.
I don't get WoW spam - most of what I'm getting these days aside from the usual Viagra, cheap prescription drugs, and penis enlargement spams is a variety of phishes. (I was deeply amused to get one claiming to be from a representative of former Egyptian President Mubarak, looking to move assets out of Egypt.

But all such things do not appear in my Inbox. The wind up labeled as Spam, and I only see them if I display mail so labeled. (I do that periodically to delete them, but if I didn't, GMail would zap them after 30 days anyway.)
There's no way to not have them delivered at all, but I don't care. I only see them if I specifically choose to look, and I only do that to delete them. I'm perfectly capable of ignoring them until I do.
