The Melbourne Catholic Book Shop has a selection of "Bible Cases" and this one proved ideal. It's rugged, simple, well made and only $24.95. It takes my Sony 505 with cover, notepad and pens, and my Asus eee and camera and I-River.

The thing I like is it is un-flashy. It doesn't have a "steal me now" electronic gadget logo or "I'm a swanky, wealthy traveller" look about it, just the understated religious fishy symbol.

Hopefully, better educated thieves (assuming their thought processes are unimpaired by illegal substances) will think I'm just carrying around my Bible and they won't bother doing a bag snatch on me.
