Give it a go. Boroda's current process is painless, if you remember to run as administrator. The added long-press feature is also handy -- I've got access to search, history, and TOC at the long-press of a button.

Don't quite know if I'm "suggesting" the Arial, just saying I prefer it and why -- YMMV.
As for the "base size", whether you load a property in the device's CSS or the book's CSS, it only changes the scope of where it applies. You can copy all or part of the body selector I posted before into your book's CSS and it should work in that book as if you'd loaded it into the default.
When you're done, you should have something like the first attached screen shot (thanks for the reminder ripplinger -- I forgot I could do that). For the second screen shot I pulled out an alternative CSS with the regular fonts loaded in the B/I combos:

2. Lexia DaMa
3. Charis SIL
4. Droid Serif
