Newly addicted

Hey, just posting this introduction note before dropping into more searches/reading. My wife had been talking about buying a K3 for several months and finally broke down about a week ago. It arrived while she was at work, so I loaded a book I was interested in and started reading. Well, wouldn't you know it, 2 days later I let her have the device after I devoured the book. I'm a Feast or Famine reader (meaning, when I'm in the mood, I'll go through books like crazy ~ I've done a book a day in my past, but I'll go for multiples of months where I don't read anything), and I like the thought of having a dozen books at my fingertips.

My hurdle now is finding the right device for me. I'm picky, know what I like/want and hate to settle. My perfect reader would have a 7~8" diagonal screen, no touch-screen, no keypad, no wifi or 3g, excellent battery life, landscape ability, not color/lcd, and be under $200. Right, I know... not likely. The 2 that seem to come closest are the iRex devices and the Sony Daily (900/950).

Anyway, since I can't afford those new, I'm watching for used and looking at other devices that come close as well as researching here.
