Hello Everyone,
Just a quick post to introduce myself. I'm disabled with very limited dexterity, I only have use of my left hand and even that is very weak. I really enjoy reading but it got to be so difficult that I pretty much had to stick to only hardcover books as paperbacks were way too difficult to handle. I tried audio books but they didn't work out, I'd much rather read.

When the prices on e-book readers came down I finally bought a Kindle and a nook to try side-by-side. The Kindle was good however I found the keypad a bit difficult to operate and so I stuck with the nook which I've been enjoying for about a year now. I find myself reading so much more now as I no longer have to wrestle with books trying to keep the pages open. The ability to enlarge the text is also a tremendous help, my eyes no longer tire after just reading a few pages.

I just upgraded to to the nook color which is great but I do have a couple of questions. Regarding the orientation feature, is it supposed to work with all file formats? I believe I read where it won't work for certain types of children's books but with my unit it didn't work with any of the 4-5 books I tried using it with. It will work with the web browser but that's it. That's my only concern for now, otherwise the nook color is great, it's so much easier to use and has so many more features than are the original.
