When my daughter was very young, maybe 5, she went with me to a friends place, my friend was an avid hunter but his wife was a vegan (?) anyway, his wife asked my daughter if she ate meat and told her that it was bad and that she shouldn't eat meat. My daughter told her, "If God didn't want us to eat meat, they wouldn't taste so good!" with that she stormed out of the room to wait for me by the door. My friends wife was speechless and my friend had to work hard to suppress his laughter.

My friend still teases my daughter about it, she works for his company and he calls her "Carnivore Syd".
