I second that! The nookcolor stock reader is not very good. It lacks landscape view. It does not render ePubs very well as it seems to have a very limited set of ePub CSS that it will fully support. And the PDF viewer just plain sucks. The web browser is probably the worst I've ever seen as it won't even display the B&N website correctly, but that might be an Android issue. Really about the only thing going for the nookcolor is that beautiful screen! If they would make an iPad with as good of a screen as the nookcolor then I would switch in a minute as I would not have to root or mess around with a baby OS that still stinks up its diapers.

And one more thing, as much as I hate Steve Jobs, at least Apple does not equire a GD cellular data plan on their iPad in order to access their app store. I say to hell with Google and the crappy little smartphone OS they spawned! I think B&N would have done better to just use Linux on the nookcolor rather than Android sitting on top of Linux. Linux works fine for other major ebook reader companies, whereas I've yet to see any Android tablet that didn't piddle on itself. Even Samsung apologized for the Galaxy Tab's inabilities after seeing the iPad 2, although the iPad 2 isn't that impressive either.
