Silberrad, Una Lucy: The Good Comrade. v1. 06 Mar 2011
I know no other works from this author, but this romance (1907 vintage, England) became at once a favourite.
It has a quite unconventional heroine, especially for the the time, and an interesting intrigue about a blue daffodil running along the plot.
