Yep. I have a quote from him I transcribed from an interview that continues to inspire me:

"I guess what I think about is that the mind is a lonely place and that it's not
often that you get to hear the voice in other people's heads and you certainly
don't often have the chance for them to hear the voice in your own head and to
capture that voice in a song and be in a position to sing it to an audience and
for them to say, "That is just how I feel too," it is a great sharing moment.
They may not be able to get into the cell of your own mind but at least you can
sense them in the adjacent cells and you can wave at them from there."
