Listen to what she says, Iridal. The problem is that of nice guys or better of men - given your age bracket I think you should look for some one in the early/middle thirties, if you get him of your age ... - available for more than just hit and run there is less and less. This is what I ear from all directions. A place that is coming back in fashion is work. There at least you get a more accurate idea of who is who. But most of the decent ones are already taken. Prof was very very lucky to get his marvel. She knows it btw.
My intuition is that, one day not too faraway, may be real soon, you will be walking downtown looking for a new pair of shoes and eying through the windows of the shops, when he will bump into you and you will help him to collect the packages he has bought for his old Aunties (he has 3, you will know all of these saucy details in a second time). Luckily he is orphan, the little angel. Little ... not little at all. Quite a man actually, just a little shy. You are standing there, he has recovered his packages, you do not know what to say, it might just be this, a nothing turning in nothingness, when again someone bumps you, and this time you end up again the orphan. He steadies you, You look him up in the face and ... Ding! You both are hit. And you both start to laugh in each other face, which to me is just what it takes ...
