That's all you need to do. I never had a woman say 'no' to that, unless it was to change it to chocolate, or a cup of coffee. Unless she was already spoken for, of course. Or spray me with Mace.

You make it sound so easy! Well, not the mace thing. That just sounds painful.
I know it's easy in theory. I also know from experience that the couple of times when I took the iniative were really hard and nervewrecking. I just need some more time to prepare. I'll get there in the end
