Amazon offers its upgrade as a patch - just pieces of code to "fix" (upgrade) what they want. It is not the entire firmware or OS or whatever you want to call it. So there is no way to roll it back and UNDO the upgrade. At least, not officially. I'm sure that Amazon could do it, at least, at the factory.
