To me it almost seems like a shell game, shuffling the pirate stuff between other sites that aren't quite as bad. I've seen others do it that way, because it makes it harder for authorities to go after them, because the site owners can make the same claim that was made earlier. "We don't have it anymore, we've reformed!" when the bad stuff is still on their servers, just at a different domain.
